Reason 1: Morgan Lee Pena, Age 3
The family of 3 year old Morgan Lee Pena was left devastated after their car was broadsided by a driver who ran a stop sign while talking on his cell-phone. Reason 2: Ryan Duffner, Age 2
Ryan Duffner, Age 2 was killed when the car he was riding in with his mother was struck by a teenage driver who, according to authorities, was talking on a cell-phone at the time. Lisa Duffner, Ryan's mother, has since been presented with the "Victims Voice Award" for her advocate work in banning cellular phone use while operating a motor vehicle. Reason 3: Dameatrius McCreary, Age 5
Dameatrius McCreary, Age 5 was killed when he was hit by a driver that had reached down to pick up a ringing cell-phone that had fallen to the floor of the car. Dameatrius had just gotten off of a school bus that was dropping him off. The school bus was parked, had it's warning lights flashing and a stop sign out when he was hit by the vehicle. Reason 4: Kathy & Kimberly Seager, Age 17
 Twins, Kathy and Kimberly Seager, Age 17, were in a vehicle that was stopped at a railroad crossing. While they were waiting for the train to pass a 23 year old driver smashed into their vehicle without ever putting on the brakes. The driver had been distracted by a cell phone conversation he was having at the time of the accident. Reason 5: Baily Goodman, Meredith McClure, Hannah Congdon, Sara Monnat, Katie Shirley
    Five teenage girls who had just graduated from High School crashed head-on into a truck with their sports utility vehicle. It was discovered that the driver of the vehicle was texting near the time of the accident. Four of the girls were from Fairport High School and were preparing for college. Reason 6: Ashley Miller, Age 18- Stacey Stubbs, Age 40
On a two lane road in Peoria Arizona, 18 year old Ashley Miller's vehicle drifted across the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by Stacey Stubbs. Both women were killed in the accident. Authorities determined that Miller had sent a text message at the exact time that the accident occurred. Reason 7: Karyn Cordell, Age 22
Karyn Cordell's vehicle was hit head-on by a 16 year old driver who had reached over to pick up his cell phone. His vehicle drifted across the center line and killed Karyn Cordell and her unborn baby. Cordell was 8 months pregnant at the time of the accident. Reason 8: Jordan Cibley, Age 18
Jordan Cibley was driving home to Foxboro talking to his father on his cell phone. His 2001 Hundai crossed the center line in the road smashing head-on into a tree. Even though both air bags deployed successfully, Cibley still died as a result of the accident. Cibley's father, Jerry Cibley is now a strong supporter of cell phone legislation. Reason 9: Matt Wilhelm, Age 25
Matt Wilhelm was cycling near Urbana Illinois when he was struck and killed by a driver that was downloading ring tones to her cell phone. Matt's death has prompted cell phone legislation that has been signed by Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Reason 10: Jessalyn Sanders, Age 6
Jessalyn Sanders was following her teenage sister when she wandered into the street. She was just off the curb when she was hit by the driver of a truck who had reached down to answer his cell phone right before the collision occurred. Reason 11: Paige Siddall, Age 17
